Used Auto Parts Policy
We offer a complete 30-day warranty for all "USED A Grade TESTED OEM" parts from the day of delivery, as we understand that shipments get delayed due to high order count and changing freightliner, Excluding 7-10 Business days. In the case of a defect, damage or incorrect part(s) delivered, we will repair or replace the faulty product during the warranty period, in accordance with the limitations specified below. We do not cover shipping amounts or labor.
Engine
Engines are complete assemblies including Manifolds, Oil Pan, Timing Belts and Covers, Fuel Injection or Carburetor. We guarantee only the long block. The manifolds, gaskets, seals, hoses, oil pan, timing belts and covers, fuel injection or carburetor, are not covered under warranty. Orders of “Block Only” (Short or Long Block) are guaranteed to be rebuildable only.
Transmission
We guarantee that it will shift properly, gears to be good and bearings to be good. Thoroughly clean all components of the transmission including the oil pan before assembly. Replace oil and filter in all automatic transmissions. You must replace ALL seals and gaskets before installation. Flush & flow test cooler and lines. Fully engage torque converter in-front pump. For manual transmission, you must install a new clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder. You must also have your flywheel turned on before installation. Fill and check the fluid to ensure proper levels.
Accessories
Accessories classified as high-wear & tear parts such as Turbos, Starters, Air Compressors, Alternators, Power Steering Pumps, Optical Distributors, and Electrical Water Pumps are typically not included in the sale or covered under warranty for engines. However, if purchased separately, these parts will have their own warranty coverage. Other components that may require replacement include the Water Pump, Distributor Cap, Spark Plugs, Wires, and potentially the Timing Chain. Drivetrain Auto Parts does not accept liability for these items as they are classified as high-wear parts.
Electrical Parts
Electrical components such as Engine Computers, Body Control Modules, Transmission Modules, and Transfer Case Modules are guaranteed to match the correct manufacturer part number. They are sold with a warranty of 30 days from the date of receipt. All electrical items are covered by a replacement warranty only. If a module is found to be non-functional, one replacement will be provided. Some modules may require reprogramming by a dealer before returning. In such cases, the module cannot be returned until the dealer confirms that it has been properly reprogrammed. Please note that modified electrical parts are not eligible for refunds.
Doors
Complete doors are sold as assemblies, but they may not include accessories such as windows, window regulators, handles, hinges, or interior panels. Our guarantee covers the door shell itself. Side view mirrors are not included and must be purchased separately.
Body Parts
For body parts like Hoods, Fenders, Bumpers, Quarter Panels, and Header Panels, please note that they may not include Hinges, Hood Ornaments, Latches, Trim, Headlights, or Grilles. While specific colors can be requested, we cannot guarantee a color match. We advise repainting body parts to ensure they match your vehicle. Please be aware that body parts that do not match the color of your vehicle cannot be returned on that basis.
